"Steady is the New Strong"
Helping leaders and founders stay steady under pressure, so they can lead clearly through uncertainty and change, using neurological regulation — not burnout resilience. With over two decades of executive experience across Australia and internationally.

The story
The architect of composure
Luisa Hogan is a distinguished leadership resilience strategist and CEO dedicated to shifting founders from self-doubt to self-trust. Born in South Africa, she moved to Australia at 23 and rose through the ranks — from regional coordinator to COO, CDO, and CEO.
Resilience is not about enduring more. It is about staying steady enough to choose your next step with clarity while everything is changing.
Her philosophy was forged in the fire of real experience — including leading a failing organisation as CEO, pouring months of effort into a turnaround, only to watch the board close it down. That crucible became the foundation of everything she teaches today.
She is the founder of Vermelho, an executive coaching and culture transformation practice, and previously the co-founder of the award-winning Whisper & Thread — a brand that embeded positive affirmations inside everyday garments, reflecting her belief that the most important conversation we ever have is the one with ourselves.
Luisa also hosts The Second Voice Podcast, exploring the conversations that leaders don't have out loud- the conversations they have with themselves, exploring their inner self-talk and what makes them steady through pressure.

Keynote talks
Steady Is the New Strong
Luisa's signature talk dismantles the myth that resilience means powering through. Drawing on neuroscience and two decades of executive experience, she replaces traditional "burnout resilience" with a framework for neurological regulation — helping leaders maintain composure under pressure and prove that true impact stems from internal stability, not sheer endurance.
Audience outcomes
- →A practical regulation framework they can use immediately
- →Clarity on the difference between endurance and steadiness
- →Tools to choose deliberate action in uncertainty
- →Permission to lead at a human pace
The Resilience Reset
Teams are burning out faster than the pace of change demands — and traditional resilience advice isn't helping. This high-impact keynote gives leaders and teams a practical framework to rebuild confidence, culture, and connection after change fatigue has set in. Luisa reframes resilience not as an act of endurance, but as a skill of regulation — equipping audiences to spot the early warning signs of burnout, apply real reset tools in the moment, and make the deliberate leadership choices that restore trust and cohesion within their teams.
Leading Through Disruption
Drawing on real experience navigating organisational failure, Luisa shows teams how to pause, regulate, and choose deliberate action when everything feels uncertain. Honest, practical, and grounded in lived experience.
The Inner Voice of Leadership
Your brand voice matters — but your inner voice shapes every decision before your audience sees a thing. A powerful talk on positive self-talk as a strategic leadership tool, designed for founders and leadership conferences.
Steady Culture by Design, Not Default
Based on Luisa's culture transformation work across Australian organisations, this session equips leaders to intentionally shape workplace culture — rather than inheriting the one that forms in their absence.
